StreetDance 3D

StreetDance 3D (also called StreetDance in the non-3D version) is a British dance film which was released on 21 May 2010.

The film was released in RealD 3D, XpanD 3D, and Dolby 3D with Max Giwa and Dania Pasquini directing it.

This bright and enjoyable family-friendly dance film is a bold and breezy British move to break into the 3D arena as yet untapped in terms of the successful street dance genre. The film is likely to be a big hit with the kids, with the 3D live action sequences working extremely well and the sweet-natured plot not overly hampered with anything as distracting as drama or intrigue.

 

 

 

While training for the UK Streetdance Championships, a streetdance crew are forced to work with Royal ballet dancers in return for rehearsal space. With no common ground and with passions riding high, they realise they need to find a way to join forces to win.

Trama

Mentre Carly e il suo gruppo di street dance cercano di qualificarsi per le finali del campionato inglese, la partenza di Jay, il suo compagno e fidanzato, rimette tutto in discussione. Anche se la ragazza non smette di crederci, sembra che le possibilità siano compromesse. Ci si mette anche la sfortuna, facendogli perdere la lo sala di prove. Elena, insegnante di danza classica impressionata dall’energia di Carly e del suo gruppo, propone loro un accordo: possono fare le loro prove in studio di danza dell’Accademia di Balletto se Carly s’impegna a condividere la sua passione e il suo lavoro con gli allievi dell’Accademia in vista dei provini per l’ingresso al prestigioso Royal Ballett. Tra i due mondi, lo shock è violento. L’accademismo e la “scuola della strada” sembrano del tutto incompatibili…
